I enjoy working with adults with self esteem issues, depression, relationship issues, identity issues, divorce recovery, substance abuse and couples therapy.

I was born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I received a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana State and completed my Masters degree in Clinical Social Work in 1984. It was in graduate school that I met my wife Angela, also a therapist. Prior to graduate school I attained experience in a variety of challenging and rewarding environments, including a detox center, a psychiatric hospital, the LSU Student Mental Health Center, the Baton Rouge Mental Health Center and Baton Rouge Youth, Inc., a group home for teenage boys. My first post-graduate work was as a therapist at Family and Youth Counseling Agency in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

In 1987 Angela and I moved to Destin. I began working at the Psychiatric Unit at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Next was private practice at Destin Counseling Center and for about the last two decades I have been in private practice in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville and Santa Rosa Beach.

I see Individuals, couples and families in my main office on Mack Bayou. We also have a satellite office out of our home in Santa Rosa Beach, if that is more convenient for you. I pride myself in running an efficient schedule and so patients never have to wait for their appointment at either location. Please note that therapy sessions are by appointment only.

Ever since, this proprietary, distinctive and recognizable table design has been a highly requested piece from not only Urban Grace Interiors clients, but social media followers as well. Over the years as Erika continued to create the table in different color variations to suit new spaces, she thought why not make a small batch available to everyone? The table's timeless yet intriguing design, not to mention the dual use it provides as both a game and dining table made it an easy decision to begin the journey of producing the table in small batches. After many years of dreaming, traveling, prototyping, tweaking, more prototyping, and branding, we are so excited to finally share The Sipsey (TM) with you.
